This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When a student has a damaged or malfunctioning device, I issue them a loaner Chromebook to use while their device is repaired so that they don't fall behind on school work. Our old loaners were not compatible with some software, and many of them broke because we did not have cases for them. In order to prepare the next round of loaner devices - newer devices that are fully compatible - we need to ensure that the devices will be protected from loss and damage.

Having durable cases for our loaner devices will keep them in good condition, fully operational, and easy to track/identify for years to come, providing the technology my students need to succeed in their work and learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
