My Project

I teach a great group of 2nd graders at a Title I school. We have students from many different backgrounds, which makes our school a culturally-rich environment. This school year is going by so quickly, and its time to think about this summer.

Being able to provide my students with books, snacks, flash cards and other summer treats would ensure they have a little fun this summer and keep their reading skills sharp.

I know my students truly appreciate every little thing. I want to reward them with the books, snacks, and summer goodies for their hard work in second grade this year and keep them busy with snacks and books.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
