Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school each day ready to learn, grow, and do their best. As their teacher, I want to make sure that nothing stands in the way of that. For many children, small, everyday needs can become big distractions during the school day. When those needs go unmet, it can be difficult for students to stay focused, confident, and engaged in their learning.

This project is designed to provide a simple but meaningful solution by stocking our classroom with essential personal care items, I can create a supportive environment where students have access to what they need, right when they need it.

These toothbrushes, wipes and other supplies will help my students stay comfortable and focused, allowing them to spend more time learning and less time worrying.

Fifth grade is a time when students are developing independence and becoming more aware of themselves and their surroundings. Having a safe, reliable space where their needs are quietly and respectfully met helps build confidence and trust.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
