Reading Requests for Middle School

Help me give my students the popular historical and regular fiction books by popular authors, like Jennifer A. Nielsen and Rebecca E. F. Barone, to meet the requests of my Middle School students in the Media Center.

My Project

Our Media Center was without a Media Coordinator for a few years, and the lack of relevant and requested books for my Middle Schoolers is evidence of this. With your donation, you would be helping me bring in some of the often asked for books that these Middle Schoolers would love to read.

By the time students get to Middle School, they often have moved away from reading books for fun or even visiting the Media Center on their own; however, your donation to help buy these popular books could be what they need to get back into that reading habit again.

Our Media Center’s average book age is 23 years old. It’s long been time for some new books that students will want to read. These are only a few of the books my students have requested, but it’s a start. Right now, historical fiction is very popular with my Middle Schoolers, with regular fiction following close behind.

We would be forever grateful to you and any donation you would want to make towards this project. You wouldn’t just be helping me purchase new books. You would be helping me inspire a love of reading once again in my Middle Schoolers.
