This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! I am a first year teacher at HVES. We are a Title I school; 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. A lot of students began the year with little to nothing in the way of supplies, so building up my classroom has been quite a task, especially learning what I need as a first year teacher.

My classroom is large and full to the brim with energetic students and it stays warm in there, with all that energy pumping!

My students would love some fans to help spread the air they get from the AC around the room. And, with a room full of fourth graders, a little air freshener wouldn't hurt!
