This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Pre-K classroom is full of young learners who are growing, exploring, and learning every single day. At this age, children need healthy nourishment throughout the day to help them stay focused, energized, and ready to learn. That is why we are seeking support for our classroom snack project to provide healthy snack options for our students.

Healthy snacks play an important role in early childhood development.

Young children have small stomachs and high energy needs, and a nutritious snack helps them refuel so they can stay engaged in classroom activities. When students have access to healthy snacks, it supports their ability to concentrate, participate in lessons, and regulate their emotions. A small snack can make a big difference in helping children stay focused, calm, and ready to learn.

Our goal for this project is to ensure that every student has access to a healthy snack during the school day. These snacks will help support our students’ physical well-being while also creating a sense of comfort and security in the classroom. We want every child to feel cared for and ready to fully participate in their learning experiences.

My students are truly special. They come to school each day eager to learn, explore, and try their best. They deserve to learn in an environment where their basic needs are supported so they can focus on growing academically, socially, and emotionally.
