My Project

My pre-K students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn. They are just beginning to explore letters, sounds, numbers, and problem-solving skills that will shape their academic future. Many of my students come from families with limited access to educational technology and resources at home. While they thrive in our classroom environment, they often lack opportunities to continue that learning after school hours. Family involvement plays a critical role in early childhood development, and I want to provide tools that make it easier for caregivers to support learning at home—even with busy schedules.

I am requesting interactive, developmentally appropriate technology tools that my students can borrow and use at home to reinforce foundational skills.

These take-home kits will include LeapFrog learning systems and hands-on activities that make early literacy and math fun and accessible. These tools are specifically designed for young learners, with simple navigation and engaging features that build confidence and independence.

By extending learning beyond the classroom, this project will help bridge the gap between school and home while fostering a love for learning at an early age.
