My Students

Can you relate to the feeling "I know I put that somewhere, if only I know where somewhere is?" If so you understand the huge need my students have for some new organizational tools like pocket charts, an ipod dock, craft trays, book organizers and magnetic manipulatives.

I have an amazing group of 18 Kindergarteners who attend a IB PYP school in Florida.

They are all super eager to learn and our school is 100% choice with no "zone" so the families and students really want to be there. Our school strives to make inquirers of our students who are well balanced and open-minded in all areas of life.

My Project

The donation of these organizational tools and magnetic manipulative's will help my class maintain sanity through the chaos. We will be able to learn how to take care of the supplies that we use and develop a sense of responsibility for our classroom tools. In Kindergarten, it is so important to establish a sense of responsibility and independence, but I am unable to do that with a lack of tools. Being organized and knowing how to care for our things in the class, will impact us for years to come as we learn what it means to be responsible. Help me instill a attitude of independence and community with these new organizational tools.

My project is very important because the students need to know how to have organization skills and donations to our project will help students learn how to take care of their materials and tools.

These organizational tools will help many classes for years to come! Students need to learn early on how to be responsible and take care of things. This will help them become more independent and reliable members of our classroom community, and the outside community.
