I am a middle school band director in New York. The majority of our school population is low income minority students who cannot afford current technological items.

USB Flash-drives are used frequently in our middle school as storage devices to keep an overwhelming amount of documents from being saved on our school computers. We have almost 1,000 students in our school and if we allowed them to save all their documents on the hard drive, we'd lose storage space very quickly. I often assign research reports and projects for the students to investigate the lives of composers or different styles of music. There have been many times that I have asked for students to bring in flash-drives and they've told me that they cannot afford them.

These USB drives will help eliminate that dilemma and will also allow students to create and edit work at home for class without having to waste paper and print it. We are all trying to "Go Green" and this will definitely help.

I would appreciate if you could help fund these USB flash-drives for my students because many students are unable to afford these storage devices. In addition, these devices can be used to store all of the student's documents in any class. Please consider donating these extremely valuable items. Thank you.
