I am a music teacher for students age 11 through 14. These students face the hardest times of their life; their pre-teen and teen years. Music has been shown to be a great outlet for expression that many youngsters enjoy, but some also need.

Our school music program has developed to be an award winning program and yet it still lacks valuable supplies. The Finale Notation software is a computer program that allows students to compose music and print music. When troubled students don't have an outlet to express themselves, sometimes it may lead to violence or possibly self harm.

This software will give students an escape they do not currently have. As teachers we are not only required to teach our one subject, we are required to teach students how to deal with life and ways of overcoming challenges. Some students need music as their outlet and this program can supply that to them.

Please consider donating to this project so students can learn that there are many different ways to cope with life and the challenges life throws at them. Composing music is one of the most calming and self-reflective activities someone can take part it. Help me bring this experience to my students by funding this set of Finale Music Notation Software. Thank you!
