Elementary Writers Workshop for the Critically Ill

My critically ill elementary students need 5 Netbook Computers.

I am the director of technology in this hospital/ school setting. These students need these laptops so that they may be able to complete their English requirements. One of our goals for these students, is to create great writers in each and everyone of them. With these laptops they will at least get the ability to write. Writing in a hospital bed or a stretcher is cumbersome at best. Now these students will be able to write their creative thoughts easily.

Currently my district continues to suffer from severe financial constraints. Thus I am trying to continue to give students and teachers the tools that they need to be successful. These laptop will be used to publish great writing pieces, as well as be integrated within the school through all subjects.

Please help give these students a chance. They have been through a lot of medical trauma. Yet, they deserve a chance to a great education.

Through your donations these students will be able to do simple things like write their assignments in an easy manner. Currently the school district has just a limited amount of computers which are government surplus. Often these computers freeze at moments notice. With the addition of these computers at least these students will be able to share in decent 21st century equipment
