Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a second grade teacher at a low income, high need community elementary school.

My students are currently running into organizational and protection of class time constraints due to the lack of appropriate desk room. It takes my students a couple of minutes to locate the right materials and textbooks to begin their learning process. The desks my students currently use have very limited storage space. I believe that giving students the tools needed to meet their learning goals is essential in providing them with the best education possible. Due to the limits in funds I am unable to buy my students desks with more storage space to increase their productivity and learning time.

My students need a set of at your seat storage sacks. These tools will help my students become more organized and teach them how to use their learning time in a more appropriate and essential way. The skills they learn in second grade will follow them for the rest of their educational path.

Your help will ensure that my students get the best educational experience to make them successful learners. My students will gain organizational skills that will help them through their learning journey. With your help you are making a difference in a child's educational experience.
