Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

This is a second grade classroom that loves science!! We would love to continue motivating our little scientists by providing them with hands-on materials for every science unit this year.

Second Grade Geologists Digging for a Surprise! Our students have really shown an interest in rocks and minerals. We have a class set of rocks and minerals to show them examples of each of the types of rocks, but do not have the funds to provide each student with their own rock to keep. I know that if they each received a geode to take home it would become a treasure.

Please help us provide our students with the excitement of discovering the beautiful interior of a geode rock.

Your generosity will bring excitement, surprise, and many smiles to our class of second grade students.
