My inspiration for my mitzvah project comes from the times I see people begging for food or money on the streets on the way to Hebrew School. Welcome to my DonorsChoose.org Giving Page for my Bat Mitzvah. My inspiration for my mitzvah project comes from the times I see people begging for food or money on the streets on the way to Hebrew School. I hate to see people in that state, and I realized that helping them is what I should do for my Bat Mitzvah project. I also realized from this website that there are a lot of people in this world who have this life of begging on the streets, not having a home or enough to eat. I've been to a lot of states in the US and I know that there are hungry and homeless people everywhere. So, I’ve decided to help school-aged kids across the country who might be hungry or cold. In addition to helping the students and classrooms through this website, I am also donating to Cradles to Crayons and also a soup kitchen, and will be raising funds through bake sales, babysitting and volunteering around town, as well as asking for your help. Finally, I will be donating tzedakah food and funds to the people I pass on the way to Hebrew School. But in order to get all the funds I need for this project, I need YOU!!!
