My students enjoy learning a new language by doing hands on activities, individually or in group. They use their creativity in making new projects that help them learn the Spanish language, and at the same time relate what they are learning into their own interests. With these projects, my students are able to bring the Spanish world into their own imagination and create original and colorful assignments. They have came up with original poster titles such as: "A short story about the Skating Llorona," "Taquito the hero dog" "Siete señales antes de que llegaran los españoles" (seven signs before the Spaniards arrived to America). I like to use technology as much as possible, but most of the time we do not have technology, especially when state testing is happening. That is why my students need enough material, especially colorful paper and markers.
