The fidget tools and soft lighting have especially helped students who need movement or sensory support while still participating academically.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the space, their reactions were immediate and genuine—there was excitement, curiosity, and a sense that this was something made specifically for them. Several students commented that it felt \"safe,\" \"calm,\" or \"like a place where I can think.\" That initial response has carried over into how they use it now. Students are more willing to recognize when they need a moment to reset, and they return to their work more focused and ready to participate. It has helped create a classroom environment where students feel supported not just academically, but emotionally as well.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our current lessons and projects, this space is helping students build important skills like self-awareness, emotional regulation, and independence.
