We are a Personal Learning Community, a school within a school concept, of 180 students and 8 teachers. Students are able to personalize their learning through agency and authentic project-based learning. My students have access to a great selection of reading books through our school library that provides a wide range of choice, but our furniture is very traditional ("old school") and in disrepair. Many of my students were previously disengaged from learning in the traditional classroom and have now become successful as a result of increased voice and choice in their learning.
