Books, Books, and More Books
Funded Dec 2, 2024Thank you so much for funding this project. I am excited to incorporate these books with math and science. I always try to find ways to mesh reading with other subjects. These books will be part of my engagement piece of the lesson plan. You truly are a blessing and I am forever grateful.”

Incentives Galore!
Funded Apr 4, 2024Thank you for funding this project. These tablets have made my day so much easier. The kids that have a hard time getting their work done, now want to get their work done so that they can get a chance on a tablet.
My students are completing their work and then able to use the tablets for a timed session on these tablets. I have set clear expectations for my students while they are on the tablets. They do not give me a hard time when the timer goes off and it's time to get back to work.
I am so grateful to everyone who donated towards this project. You are a difference maker and such a blessing.”

Books on Diversity
Funded Aug 11, 2020Thank you so much for your donations. My class has used these throughout the year to talk and discuss diversity around the world. If our teachers throughout school didn't have any different knowledge and experience than us, then we would never learn anything from them. The same goes for different cultures and backgrounds. If everyone was exactly the same, no one would ever learn anything because there would be no knowledge to teach.
Diversity brings in new ideas and experiences, and people can learn from each other. Bringing in different ideas and perspectives leads to better problem-solving. All of my students are enjoying learning about other cultures.”

Funded Aug 28, 2019This year has been a bit different than other years. Since the Covid-19 outbreak, I have been even more buy at home than working at school. All of the materials have been helpful in many ways.
I teach in a LEAD classroom which supports special education students. The pencil grip aids have helped my students with their writing and understanding the correct pencil grip.
The word wall bulletin board items were used throughout this entire school year to add new words as they are learned. It is a great resource that I have saved to use next year. My student's would use it as a reference when they are writing, so that they could spell the word correctly.
The folding crate has been used in numerous ways. We take our library books back to the library each week in the crate. If I have anything heavy, then my students or I will take the materials in the crate. There are many uses for this item and we love it.
Thank you again for you help and support in donating to this project. I hope to make more projects soon for next year.”

Funded Jul 10, 2019Thank you so much for donating towards this project. The tablets are such a great addition to our class. They really enjoy playing educational games on them.
As soon as my kids finish their independent work, they ask to play on the tablets. I've downloaded literacy and math games for them to play during centers. The tablets and computers are part of my technology center.
Thank you again for your help and support in funding this project. I'm so happy to have been able to offer this additional resource in my classroom.”

Funded May 10, 2019I'm so grateful for your help in funding this project. We have used all of these materials daily. The stool is used for instruction, reading a book, sharing our writing, and in so many other ways. Of course we use pencils all the time. The rewards and treasure box come in handy when my students earn a treat or pass for good behavior.
Again, I am so thankful for your support and generosity in funding this project. You are a difference maker and super hero! I'm so glad you chose to help me out and my students.”

Funded Apr 14, 2019The blue light filters were a hit! As soon as the kids walked into the room, they were amazed at the room. They help in reducing the amount of headaches in our classroom. We haven't received all of our materials from this project yet, but they will come soon. The headphones are supposed to be here in July because they are on back-order. The laminating sheets are always necessary for the small group literacy and math activities that my students do on a weekly basis. The 4 column colored pocket chart is being used to show math and literacy small groups.
Thank you again for all your help and support in funding this project. Your help with funding this project has made our classroom warm and inviting. My next I have two other projects that are active at this time. There is a technology project and a pencil/stool project.”

Clipboards Galore!
Funded Mar 12, 2019This project was well worth it to me and my students. They enjoy being able to use the flexible seating and grab a clipboard to lean on throughout the day. The most exciting part about having clipboards is that my students are enjoying using them.
The rotating caddy's are placed at my small group table and the writing center. They are great organizers that my students use daily.
This wouldn't be possible without all your help and support this year. My students and I are so grateful for you.”

Develop a Passion for Reading
Funded Mar 2, 2019Thank you so much for the donations towards this project. Without your help and support, I would have paid for it out of my own pocket. The materials excited the kids and it's also nice to see the smiles on their faces when we get new things. The pocket sleeves are always nice to have in literacy and math centers. The bulletin board paper is now orange in the front of the classroom. The leveled books have helped my students transform from 1st grade to 2nd grade readers.
Thank you again for all your help and support this year! You are such a blessing!”

Flexible Seating!
Funded Nov 24, 2018I appreciate your generosity and kindness through donating towards this project. Since my first year of teaching, I have learned a lot about behavior management and different modes of learning. We are all different and learn differently. By providing my students with the opportunity to choose their flexible seating option, I'm allowing them to choose what best helps them to learn.
Once I opened the reading lounge chairs, the students were in love with how comfortable they were. They are used in my classroom library as seating while they are reading.
My next project will be used for literacy and organization. I really need 2nd grade desirable books. Please stay on the lookout for my next project. Thank you for all your continued support.”
