Regardless of school year, my students are elementary children medically diagnosed with special needs in the mild to moderate SDC setting located in a title one school/district. The school that I teach at is a Title 1 registered site. Even though my students are in the 3th through 5th grades, cognitively (academically) they range between Kindergarten through low third grade levels. Most of my students do not even have a book at home to read at bedtime, yet they are amazing children! I am so proud of each and every one of them for working as hard as they can towards understanding the world around them.
