My Project

My students are some of the most curious, creative, and enthusiastic learners I have ever had the privilege of teaching. They come to school each day ready to learn, connect, and grow. I love their excitement, their big personalities, and the way they support one another as they become more confident learners.

One of the most important parts of our school day begins before students even enter the classroom.

Teachers greet students in the hallway, welcome them with a smile, build relationships, and help create a safe and positive environment. These mobile standing desks will allow teachers to be present in the hallway to welcome students and monitor safety while still being able to complete important classroom tasks, prepare materials, and support their students.

Once inside the classroom, these desks will provide even more opportunities for flexible learning. Because they are mobile, they can move wherever they are needed and can be used by both teachers and students. Students will have access to an alternative workspace that allows them to stand, move, and stay engaged while learning. Teachers can use them for small group instruction, collaborative activities, and creating a classroom environment that adapts to the needs of every learner.

Movement and flexibility are important for young learners. These standing desks will help students stay focused, comfortable, and engaged while giving teachers the ability to create a more connected and responsive learning environment.

By funding this project, you are helping create classrooms where teachers can be more present, students can learn in ways that work best for them, and our entire school community feels welcomed and supported.
