My Project

As a new middle school librarian, I am on a mission to transform our library into a vibrant, high-energy hub for every student, especially our reluctant readers. To jumpstart this vision, this project will fund exactly 50 new and replacement books. We are replacing heavily worn favorites that have been loved to pieces, while introducing fresh, high-interest titles that will instantly grab their attention.

But we aren't just adding books to shelves; we are turning reading into an interactive game!

To draw in students who might usually bypass the library, we are introducing "This or That" voting boxes. Students will get to cast their ballots on fun, book-related debates, spark friendly library rivalries, and actively choose what our community reads next. Your support will provide the perfect mix of 50 captivating titles and engaging library activities to prove to our middle schoolers that reading is anything but boring. Thank you for helping a new librarian make a massive first impression!
