My Project

Our K-8 students are naturally curious, resilient, and deeply creative thinkers who thrive when given the chance to build and experiment. Working across multiple grade levels, I see students who process the world best when learning is interactive and tangible--from kindergarteners exploring spatial relationships to middle schoolers tackling real-world design problems. They are at their absolute best when they step into the driver's seat of technology as active creators rather than passive consumers.

By bringing a 3D printer into our school, my goal is spark cross-curricular innovation that connects STEM concepts to every subject area across grades K-8.

A dedicated 3D printer in our space will transform theoretical lessons into physical learning, allowing students to draft 3D models in CAD software, test physical prototypes, and iterate their designs. Whether recreating historical artifacts for social studies, modeling cell structures for science, geometry for math, or designing tactile storytelling props for literacy, this technology makes abstract ideas hands-on for all learners.

A steady supply of colorful 3D printing filament ensures that every student, regardless of grade level or content focus, gets the opportunity to turn their digital ideas into real-world objects. Access to filament keeps our design projects running continuously so that every child can experience the thrill of holding their own creations, building problem-solving confidence and creative agency across all subjects.
