My Project

My kindergarten students learn best in a classroom that is organized, predictable, and filled with opportunities to explore. In our self-contained classroom, we use many hands-on materials throughout the day, and having the right organizational tools helps my students know where materials belong and makes it easier for them to participate independently.

These resources will help create a more organized, accessible, and supportive learning environment for my students.

A wall-mounted sensory board will provide students with an appropriate hands-on activity for sensory exploration and self-regulation. Turn-in trays and storage bins will help organize student work and classroom materials so students can learn routines such as putting work in the correct place and taking responsibility for their belongings. An electrical stapler will allow me to quickly prepare student work packets and learning materials, while select-size laminating film will allow me to create durable visual supports, activity cards, and reusable learning materials that can be used again and again.

These resources will help me spend less time searching for and organizing materials and more time interacting with my students. They will also give my students clearer routines and more opportunities to practice independence. In a kindergarten classroom, small organizational supports can make a big difference. With your help, I can create a classroom where materials are accessible, routines are easier to follow, and every student has the tools they need to learn, explore, and succeed.
