Sip, Sip, Hooray! Celebrating Our Star Students

Help me give my students special Star Student cups to celebrate their hard work, kindness, growth, and positive choices while creating memorable moments that make every child feel seen, valued, and proud to shine!

My Project

Every child deserves to know that their hard work, kindness, growth, and positive choices are noticed. These special cups will help us continue an exciting classroom tradition that celebrates students for the wonderful things they do each day.

In our classrooms, being named a Star Student is more than just a title—it is a chance for a child to feel seen, celebrated, and incredibly proud of themselves!

The Star Student will get to use a special cup that makes their day feel just a little more magical. Something as simple as having the “special cup”, filled with fun items, can become a treasured classroom privilege that students look forward to and remember.

As a teacher, I want to create a classroom where celebrations are not reserved only for perfect grades or the biggest accomplishments. I want my students to learn that growth deserves celebration. Kindness deserves celebration. Perseverance deserves celebration. Being a good friend, trying again when something is difficult, helping someone without being asked, and making choices that make our classroom a better place—all of these things deserve to be recognized.

These Star Student cups will give us a fun, tangible way to say, “I see you. I see your effort. Keep shining!”

By supporting this project, you will help us create small moments that can have a BIG impact on a child’s confidence and sense of belonging. My hope is that when students see that special cup sitting on their desk, filled with a fun pen and extra special desk pets, they will sit a little taller, smile a little bigger, and feel incredibly proud to be our shining star for the week.

Because sometimes, it is the smallest classroom traditions that create the sweetest memories—and every child deserves their chance to shine!
