Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Spanish classroom is a place where students grow not only as learners, but as confident communicators. This project aims to create a more engaging and supportive environment by providing flexible seating, headphones, motivational tools, and essential classroom supplies.

Flexible seating options will allow students to choose where they learn best—helping them stay comfortable, focused, and ready to participate.

Headphones will support independent work, listening activities, and language practice, giving each child the opportunity to learn at their own pace.

To keep students motivated and excited about learning, we will include small toys and incentives that encourage positive behavior and effort. These tools help build a joyful classroom where students feel recognized and eager to do their best.

In addition, essential supplies such as sharpeners and timers will help our classroom run smoothly. Timers will support time management and transitions, while sharpeners ensure students always have the tools they need without interruptions.

With your support, we can create a classroom that fosters independence, motivation, and a love for learning Spanish—because when students feel comfortable and inspired, they are ready to succeed.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
