Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, resilient, and eager to learn new skills that will help them become more independent and successful in their daily lives. I love watching their confidence grow as they master tasks that prepare them for adulthood, such as communication, problem-solving, and making responsible choices. The resources (dry-erase erasers, dry-erase markers, Swiffer, pencils, colored pencils, graph grid paper, Lysol disinfecting wipes, pencil dispenser, paper towels, clipboards, scissors stand holder, copy paper, magazine holder organizer, pencil holder, Shark vacuum, and toner cartridges) in this project will provide hands-on, engaging learning opportunities that meet the diverse needs of my students. Each item has been selected to support real-world learning, increase student participation, and strengthen essential life skills through meaningful practice. These materials will help transform lessons into interactive experiences, allowing students to build independence, develop confidence, and apply what they learn both in the classroom and in their communities. Your support will give my students the tools they need to reach their full potential and achieve greater success in their futures.
