Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom seeks funding for gross motor equipment to strengthen little learners' bodies and minds. Running, jumping, and climbing build large muscle power, improve balance, and reduce injury risk through better coordination. These skills foster daily independence: core stability supports dressing, bed transfers, and sitting upright, while confident navigation helps children safely move through home, school, and outdoor spaces. I am requesting playground balls, hoops, dump trucks, pop up tunnel, and more. Gross motor development also lays the foundation for fine motor skills, strengthening torso and shoulder control for precise tasks like writing, and builds spatial awareness as children learn to solve physical puzzles through movement.
