This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

TK and Kindergarten is such a foundational year of learning, and so much growth happens in this year for them. The sensory table will help them connect real world items to thematic units throughout the year.

I want to bring the garden back to kindergarten by using play based learning.

Kids need dramatic play, so the farmers market stand will give them a chance to be creative and interactive with each other.

Tk students are young, and need a place to rest during a long school day. These sleep mats will give them the space they need for that.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
