Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first-grade dual language students are getting ready for a new school year. The resources in this project will help them practice reading and math through hands-on centers that make learning fun. As young learners, they benefit greatly from hands-on activities that let them explore reading and math. These materials will give them opportunities to work independently as they build confidence, and also collaborate together as they learn to communicate, problem-solve, and support one another. With these tools, my students will start the year with strong routines and joyful learning experiences.
