My Project

My name is Dylan Harper, and this year I am beginning my journey as a 6th grade History and Creative Writing teacher at WMS. This role is a dream come true—I grew up in Windsor and couldn't be more excited to be here, but I have found that one of the biggest challenges is something far too common in public education: a serious shortage of basic supplies.

My goal is to stock my classroom with the essential materials every 6th-grade historian needs.

This includes basic supplies like pencils, pens, notebook paper, and folders, as well as more specialized materials like colored pencils, markers, and sticky notes for creative projects and research . Having these materials on hand means that a student's ability to learn will no longer be limited by their ability to afford a pencil.

Your donation is an investment in our students' confidence and potential. It ensures that every child, regardless of their background, can walk into my classroom feeling prepared and empowered . When a student has their own set of materials, they hold the keys to unlock their own learning potential .

I want to create a classroom where every student feels they belong and has the tools to explore the past. Your support can help turn this vision into a reality and show my students that there are people out there who truly believe in their future.
