Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day, my third-grade students walk into our classroom eager to learn, ask questions, and support one another. They are curious, resilient, and work incredibly hard, even when faced with challenges. I want our classroom to be a place where they feel prepared, confident, and excited to come to school each day.

The materials in this project will help make that possible.

Seat sacks will give each student a designated space to keep their supplies organized and accessible, reducing lost materials and maximizing instructional time. Pencils, markers, and other classroom essentials ensure every student has the tools they need to participate in lessons, complete assignments, and express their creativity without worrying about whether they have supplies.

Book baggies will help students keep their independent reading books organized and in good condition, making it easier for them to build strong reading habits both in the classroom and at home. Classroom signs will reinforce routines and expectations, helping students become more independent and confident throughout the school day.

The snacks and reward items will support both academic and social-emotional growth. A small snack can help students refocus when they're hungry, while rewards celebrate hard work, positive choices, and perseverance. Recognizing their efforts helps create a positive classroom culture where students are motivated to do their best.

These may seem like simple supplies, but they have a meaningful impact on our daily learning. With your support, my students will have an organized, welcoming classroom filled with the resources they need to learn, grow, and succeed. Thank you for helping make that possible!
