Let's Get Moving: Gaga Ball for Our New Campus!

Help me give my students a way to play Gaga Ball and expand their physical activity options during recess and P.E.

My Project

Our 6th–8th grade students are an incredible group of young people. They bring enthusiasm, humor, and heart to our school every day, and they truly thrive when they have opportunities to move, explore, and play. Middle school is a time when students are discovering who they are, and physical activity plays a huge role in helping them grow in healthy, positive ways.

To elevate our new campus and give students more opportunities for active play, we hope to enhance our outdoor space by installing a large Gaga Ball pit.

The pit will be installed next to our field where students have Wellness/P.E. classes and enjoy recess every day.

Gaga Ball is one of those games that almost everyone can jump into—regardless of age, athletic ability, or experience. It encourages movement, laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition while helping students build confidence and practice good sportsmanship. Because it's fast-paced and easy to learn, it quickly becomes a favorite gathering place where students can connect and stay active together.

Adding a Gaga Ball pit will transform an underused area of our campus into a vibrant space for healthy play during both Wellness classes and recess. By supporting this project, you're helping create a space where students can move, connect, and belong every single day. Thank you for investing in their health, happiness, and well-being.
