My Project

Every day, our students use Fundations letter tiles to strengthen phonics, spelling, decoding, and reading fluency. These hands-on materials are an essential part of our literacy instruction, helping students build confidence as they manipulate sounds and words.

Unfortunately, keeping hundreds of small letter tiles organized is a daily challenge.

Without a reliable storage system, valuable instructional time is often spent searching for missing letters, sorting mixed-up tiles, and replacing lost pieces. This can be especially frustrating for students who thrive with structure and consistency. We are requesting storage cabinets and zipper mesh pouches for organization.

Drawer organizers would provide each letter tile with a designated place, making materials easy to access, easy to put away, and ready for learning. Instead of spending precious minutes organizing supplies, students can spend that time practicing reading and writing skills.

An organized learning environment also promotes student independence. This simple organizational tool will have a lasting impact on our daily literacy instruction throughout the school year.
