This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have officially entered the world of 3D design—and they are hooked. From the moment our printer started running, ideas began flowing faster than we could print them. Students are designing solutions to real-world problems, creating assistive tools, and bringing their imagination to life layer by layer.

But with this excitement comes a challenge: keeping up.

3D printing requires more than just the printer itself. Filament, build plates, nozzles, and maintenance parts are essential to keeping our momentum going. Without these materials, projects stall, ideas pause, and valuable learning time is lost. I want to make sure nothing stands in the way of my students’ creativity and innovation.

With these additional supplies, my students will be able to continuously design, test, and improve their creations. They will take ownership of the entire engineering process—from concept to final product—while developing problem-solving skills, perseverance, and confidence. These are not just classroom projects; they are opportunities for students to think like engineers and creators.

This project will ensure that every student has access to the tools they need to succeed, without limits or interruptions. When students see their ideas come to life, it changes how they view themselves—not just as learners, but as innovators.
