Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

a place to learn about gardening and where their food comes from. We live in an area that they do not know much about where their food comes from and most families do not have the yard or space to learn at home. I hope to give my students the opportunity to apply life science skills they learn in class to real life experiences by tending the plants in the garden.

Our Gardening club is just starting we have an outdoor space, but we’re lacking all tools and materials to get started.

Our goals are to establish an outdoor garden for students to care for and grow various plants throughout the year and develop an understanding of plant growth and good land stewardship.
