My Project

My kindergarten students are excited, curious, and eager to learn! Every child enters the classroom with different strengths, needs, and learning experiences. As their teacher, I want to make sure that I understand exactly what each student knows and what skills they are ready to learn next.

I am requesting support to provide ESGI (Educational Software Guiding Instruction) for my kindergarten classroom.

ESGI is an assessment tool that allows me to quickly assess individual student skills and use the results to guide instruction.

In kindergarten, foundational skills such as letter recognition, letter sounds, phonemic awareness, sight words, number recognition, counting, and early math skills are incredibly important. ESGI helps me identify which skills each student has mastered and which skills need additional practice and support.

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, ESGI allows me to make informed instructional decisions based on each child's individual needs. I can use assessment results to create targeted small groups, provide additional practice, and monitor student growth throughout the year.

With ESGI, I can spend less time recording and organizing assessment data and more time teaching my students. The immediate results help me determine what to reteach, which students need additional support, and when students are ready to move on to more challenging skills.

For my kindergarteners, early identification and intervention can make a tremendous difference. ESGI will help me provide instruction that is intentional, individualized, and responsive to my students' needs.

Your support will give me a valuable tool for understanding my students as learners and helping each child make meaningful progress. ESGI will allow me to continually assess, adjust instruction, and celebrate student growth.
