Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each year, students need sturdy homework folders. We use these throughout the year to reinforce math and reading skills and build independence. Blank books are used to create "scrapbooks" that highlight the leaders we learn about throughout the year. Students hold onto these keepsakes for years to come!! Quality headphones with microphones are an absolute MUST in our classroom. We use iPads frequently to record/practice oral reading fluency. We also use them to listen to text and feedback about our work. We record ourselves reading our own writing so that we can make sure it makes sense.
