My Project

All students need some type of calming tools throughout their day, and different students need different supports. I am a school counselor creating Calming Bags for each of the classrooms in my school and would love to fill them with some very important tools, including weighted stuffies, liquid timers, and various fidgets that can be quietly used in the classroom and in calm corners.

By donating to our project, you will be supporting ALL of the students in my school and all of their various social/emotional needs!

Some students are calmed by weighted objects, some focus best when they have something in their hands to fidget with, and some like to focus their eyes on something to calm their minds and bring their attention back to learning. I am so excited to use the tools in my project to provide each of the classrooms in my school with a Calming Bag that I know will have tools to support each student, no matter what they may need in that moment!
