My Project

Our first-grade classroom is filled with eager, curious learners who deserve a welcoming and engaging environment where they can thrive. As a Title I school serving a high percentage of students from low-income families, many of our children begin the school year with limited access to educational resources outside of school. For many students, the materials and experiences provided in the classroom are their primary opportunities for hands-on learning, creativity, and academic growth.

This project will help replenish essential classroom supplies and provide enriching learning materials that support literacy, mathematics, science, and social-emotional development.

Items such as pencils, crayons, markers, notebooks, folders, dry-erase markers, and other everyday classroom necessities are quickly used throughout the year and need to be restocked to ensure every student has what they need to succeed.

In addition to basic supplies, this project will provide engaging educational resources, hands-on learning tools, literacy materials, flexible seating options, and classroom organization items that create a positive and stimulating learning environment. These materials will help students build foundational skills, stay actively engaged in lessons, and develop a love of learning.

By supporting this project, donors will help create an equitable learning experience for young students who face economic challenges. Your generosity will ensure that every child enters the new school year with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to feel confident, capable, and excited about learning. Together, we can give our first graders a strong start and set the stage for a successful year of growth and achievement.
