My Project

I love my students’ individuality. I love to see the pride in their faces when they finally acquire the skill they’ve been working on for so long.

My students learn differently so require extra tools for sensory needs, like the light up tracing center, headphones, slant board, and fidgets.

They have social emotional learning and behavioral management needs so require extra incentives and the feeling of a safe space that keeps them calm. This is how the rewards, rug, seat cushions, and even timers can help.

I want students to feel loved and safe and have a general feeling of happiness and accomplishment when they come to my room. My hope is that these supplies and tools will be part of serving that purpose.
