My Project

As the school year comes to a close, my high school math students are working hard to master key concepts and prepare for final exams. However, many of our classroom tools are worn, lost, or no longer functioning, creating unnecessary barriers during one of the most important times of the year. My goal is to ensure that every student has access to the resources they need to stay engaged, practice effectively, and build confidence in their mathematical abilities.

My students need reliable tools and basic essentials to stay focused, prepared, and ready to learn each day.

This project will replace lost/damaged Chromebook chargers and scientific calculators so students can fully participate in lessons and complete assignments without interruption. It will also provide pencils, colored pencils, and index cards so students can actively engage in class and create flashcards to reinforce learning at home and prepare for exams.

In addition, this project will support a small classroom wellness station with feminine hygiene products, basic toiletries like lotion and body wipes, and quick energy snacks such as granola bars, meat sticks, and nuts. These items help remove everyday distractions and allow students to focus on learning. When students feel comfortable and supported, they are more likely to stay present, participate, and succeed.
