Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at Horace Mann are mad for soccer. A great chunk of our playground is used every day for kicking a ball at or near a goal - real or imagined.

Horace Mann Jaguars are avid soccer players.

Consequently, they go through balls, jerseys, and especially goals. We have tried many different kinds over the years, using just a pair of orange cones. Time has taught us that the more structure we give our soccer games, the easier they are to monitor and enjoy.

Creating a play-place where they can experience team play and build those skills that make them better Jaguars!
