My Project

I am creating a flexible seating environment designed to help students feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn. Through this project, students will have seating options, including futons, cozy chairs, a coffee table, and lap desks, that allow them to work in ways that best fit their learning styles and needs.

My goal is to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere that feels more like a safe community space than a traditional classroom.

When students feel at ease, they are more likely to participate, collaborate, build confidence, and stay engaged in learning. Flexible seating also encourages positive social interaction and helps strengthen meaningful teacher-student relationships by creating a more relaxed and inviting environment.

By providing comfortable and functional seating options, this space will support student focus, emotional well-being, and a stronger sense of belonging in the classroom every day.
