My Project

Imagine a classroom where students don't just learn about innovation—they create it. In our Digital Literacy and Technology classroom, students explore engineering, coding, design thinking, and real-world problem solving. A high-quality 3D printer will transform these lessons from ideas on a screen into physical creations that students can hold, test, improve, and proudly take home.

The Bambu Lab P2S 3D printer will give my students access to the same type of technology used by engineers, architects, product designers, and entrepreneurs.

Instead of simply completing worksheets, students will design assistive devices, prototype inventions, create robotics components, print historical artifacts, develop math manipulatives, and solve authentic challenges through hands-on learning.

Many of my students have never had the opportunity to use advanced manufacturing technology. By introducing professional-quality 3D printing, they will build critical 21st-century skills such as creativity, collaboration, perseverance, computational thinking, and problem-solving. They will learn that mistakes are simply part of the design process as they iterate, improve, and refine their creations.
