Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Butterfly Beautiful high school multimedia team is using the materials to design and produce a student led podcast and TV show production so we can build a professional portfolio for the media career industry.

iPads, headphones, SD cards and readers, microphones, OSMO gimble camera holders, and mice will enable each content creator to hear the details needed when doing media critique and editing.

The storage, decor, touchscreen photo frames, and backdrops will make set design possible for our show. The goal of the project is to help students to find their passions, purpose, and express their voices using media arts.

Our outcome will be a TV newscast that we will air weekly in school. Students have set goals for a 4 year commitment to media arts study. We endeavor to obtain professional media industry jobs for each student by honing skills in photography and videography.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
