My Project

Every student deserves to see themselves reflected in what they learn. In my 8th-grade social studies classroom, I will teach 100+ incredible young people from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I want each of them to feel seen, valued, and inspired. Many of my students come from low-income households where basic school supplies are luxuries they cannot always afford.

I want to build a welcoming classroom where history feels alive and every student can explore diverse people, places, and perspectives with curiosity and confidence.

With your support, I am requesting:

Basic School Supplies: notebooks, folders, markers, colored pencils, #2 pencils, and glue sticks.

A world map tapestry: to make geography visible and help students connect places, people, and events across the globe.

Fiction and Non-Fiction book to give students a window into the past.

Headphones: to help every student access audio, video, and independent learning activities.

Snacks: to create a welcoming environment and keep students motivated and ready to learn.

These resources will help transform our classroom into a space where:

* Students can fully participate in lessons and multimedia learning

* Learning feels engaging, inclusive, and joyful for everyone

* Students see that the world is interconnected and that their stories matter

* My 8th graders build empathy, curiosity, and confidence

Eighth grade is a pivotal time. When students have access to meaningful resources and see themselves reflected in learning, they take risks, ask questions, and grow.
