My Project

A classroom rug helps students learn by creating a dedicated gathering space that reduces behavioral distractions, optimizes room acoustics, and physically primes the brain for focus. Far from being just a piece of decor, strategic flooring serves as a structural learning tool that directly impacts a child's cognitive and social-emotional development

My students are special for many reasons but something unique about our classroom is that all students are able to learn at their own pace since they are receiving special education/gifted services.

My school is a Leader in Me school and the students attending here stand out because they take ownership of their own learning, practice the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and hold real leadership roles within their classrooms. They learn to set personal goals, solve problems on their own, and work well with others. All these skills can and will be practiced on this rug.
