My Project

My students bring so much energy, creativity, and curiosity into the classroom each day. They are eager to try new things, support one another, and express themselves in unique ways. I love their willingness to take risks, whether it’s learning a new rhythm, singing out loud, or collaborating with their classmates. Their excitement for music reminds me every day why creating meaningful musical experiences for them is so important.

The cajón drum will give my students a hands-on way to explore rhythm, beat, and musical expression.

Because students can sit on the instrument and play it with their hands, the cajón makes rhythm learning interactive and accessible for all learners. It helps students feel the beat physically, strengthening timing, coordination, and listening skills.
