My Project

In our art room, creativity is more than just making something —it's how students express emotions, build confidence, and develop critical thinking skills. My K–5 students explore a wide range of artistic techniques, and this project will help ensure they have the tools they need for a full year of meaningful, hands-on learning.

With these materials, students will experiment with drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.

From vibrant marker illustrations and watercolor resist paintings to collaborative building challenges and textured creations using Wikki Stix and tag board, every child will have access to engaging, high-quality supplies.

These resources will also support fine motor development, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth—especially important for many of my students who benefit from creative expression as an outlet. Materials like Kwik Stix, Do-A-Dot markers, and adaptive tools ensure that all learners, including those with diverse needs, can fully participate and feel successful.

By restocking our classroom for the 2026–2027 school year, this project will directly impact hundreds of students, giving them the opportunity to explore, create, and take pride in their artwork.
