Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their resilience, curiosity, and eagerness to learn, even when they face challenges outside of school. They come to the classroom each day ready to try their best, support one another, and grow academically and personally. Despite limited resources, they show creativity, kindness, and a strong desire to succeed.

Each resource in our classroom plays an important role in helping students learn and thrive.

Basic supplies such as water bottles allow students to fully participate in daily instruction and complete meaningful work with pride. Having enough materials ensures that no student is left behind or without the tools they need to engage in lessons.

Additional resources such as popcorn, lollipops and other snacks help to support students to better understand new skills, practice independently, and build confidence as learners.

With the right resources in place, my students are able to focus on learning rather than worrying about missing materials. They are better equipped to collaborate, take ownership of their work, and fully engage in classroom activities. Most importantly, these resources help create an environment where every child feels prepared, supported, and capable of success.
